NIGHT FISHING IN YANGSHUO, CHINA

In this incredible night-time capture by Yury Pustovoy (click the photo for a much higher-resolution version), we see a group of fisherman departing for an evening fishing excursion with their trusty birds (cormorants) in tow. Comments on Reddit strongly suggest this was taken in Yangshuo, about an hour outside of Guilin (Southern China). The comments further suggest that while some fisherman may still employ the Cormorant fishing technique, it is mostly for show (for tourists) at least in this particular region.
